Description
Experience the amazing taste of raw Manoufia Honey, a classic favorite in Egypt for many families. Pick any flavour from clover, black seed nectar, cotton honeydew or clover.
NOTE: For Wildflower or banana flower, please calculate an extra 90 le per 500 g jar or 200 le per 1kg jar.
Choose the right family box size (6kg or 12 kg) and then message us with your jar choices.
Tastes available:
Black seed: The nectar of the Nigella Sativa plant plus a little bit of yansoon (anise). Soft herbal caramel taste that even the kids love
Citrus blossom: Our regular yummy orange blossom honey that you know and love. Best-ever breakfast honey.
Clover: Clover is the standard for 'unflavoured' honey but Clover does have a flavour - it is simply very delicate! In our best harvests you can taste the sun-scorched clover flower.
Cotton honeydew with Prebiotic: The bees gather from the cotton plants the nectar and also leaf juice. Cotton honey contains ~10% less of the digestible carbohydrates, and instead contains oligosaccharides, which are prebiotic and feed the beneficial bacteria in the gut.
Wild organic honey (extra fee) from the nectar of the plants in the Western desert. Uniquely multifloral - containing the nectars and pollens of many different plants. (Egyptian honey is usually monofloral =one plant dominates) With the nutritionally richest content, and closest to the internationally acknowledged taste of 'honey'.
Banana Flower (extra fee): Powerful dark honey reminiscent of prunes. Pairs well with charcuterie board, and sourdough bread, and oats & cereals.
